How to view your personal web pages

Open your browser (the program you use to browse web pages on the World Wide Web, (WWW)) and in the location bar (it should already have a location such as http://www.netscape.com/ or http://www.microsoft.com/ in it) and type in http://wwww.waypt.com/users/~username/ where username is your username. If the page you created loads fine, then you're finished. If not, go back to ftp.waypt.com with your FTP client and make sure you see a file named default.html, default.htm, index.html, or index.htm on our server. A frequent mistake is to use another filename, such as home.html or "index.txt" when creating your site.
